Unity Trainer performing at Shanghai World Expo
Jamie Pryor
The Shanghai World Expo with over 190 Nations participating is a new opportunity for a gifted performer and composer. Luke Sweeting a current music trainer at Unity College has been selected to perform for seven days in early July at the World Expo. This honour builds on a string of recent recognitions including the 2009 Dennis Griffin national piano scholarship to complete his Masters in Music and the 2010 Sprogis/Woods Jazz Composition Competition award. Luke is also a gifted worship leader at a local church in Canberra.
Also known to Unity College, the Hip Hop and Break Dance group “Kulture Break” have also been selected to perform at the World Expo with its blend of high energy and crowd pleasing performances. With a vision to “influence culture and empower generations” this will be a new opportunity for them to do just that.
