Unity College has been approved by the ACT Government under the Priorities Support Program to deliver training for eligible people wanting to re-enter the workforce either in paid or voluntary employment. The course covers skills such as resume preparation, work based communication, work experience placement and some basic IT skills. A qualification Certificate 1 in Work Preparation (Community Services) will also be awarded.



Also available is a government funded Certificate II in IT course for people wanting to gain more extensive IT skills.



These courses will be run both northside (Charnwood) and southside (Phillip). Students are required to make a small contribution to overall fees. Courses start from late August onwards and are part time (2 sessions a week) for 11 weeks for the Work Preparation course and 14 weeks for the IT course.
