Understand what you need to know to work in the music industry or ministry. 

The first intensive dates for 2010 are:

26-27 March,

30 April – 1 May and

18-19 June.

All intensives are Friday evenings (6:00pm – 9:30pm) and Saturdays (9:30am -4pm)

This intensive series will be of interest to anyone who is currently, or who is looking to be, involved in any aspect of Music - whether in church ministry, performance, teaching, composing/songwriting, audio mixing/recording, management etc.

The intensives cover aspects of the industry including OH&S, Copyright issues, other legal issues, music as a business, financial considerations, developing networks, understanding contracts and working with / in management. 

Participants in previous series have found the topics covered very useful and relevant. Ian Pavletich, the trainer, has extensive experience in Music as a performer, songwriter, audio engineer, teacher and event manager. The intensive covers several subjects which are part of the nationally accredited Certificate IV and Diploma of Music courses offered by Unity College.
