New Courses Available
Unity College
Two new courses have been accredited recently and are open for enrolments.
The Certificate IV in Pastoral Care course provides training for chaplaincy and pastoral care workers. The Certificate IV in Pastoral Care is recognized nationally as a community services qualification. Some units within this course are based on the Department of Defence Chaplaincy units of competence.
The Certificate IV in Celebrancy course, currently available in Canberra and Brisbane, provides training in marriage and funeral celebrancy. This course will also support applicants that are already able to apply to a denomination to be a marriage celebrant. Training will also cover intending marriage celebrants in independent churches and the more general community in the near future.
These courses will initially run in context with current Christian Ministry training (including Pastoral Counselling & Care and Pastoral Ministry units). Intensives for experienced students will also be offered.
