Recognition of Prior Learning

Students may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) on the strength of formal or informal learning and experience.

Where students have undertaken studies at any vocational training organisation recognised by the Australian Government (often referred to as a Registered Training Organisation or RTO), the college has a policy of national recognition of any relevant studies already undertaken. This would include individual recognised competencies as well as full courses. This is at no cost to the student.

To apply more generally for RPL prospective students should:

- Complete an application form (email the College for a copy of the form)
- Pay the relevant fees
- Provide relevant information for assessing any previous learning against Unity College Australia subject(s) outcomes. This could include such supporting documentation as CVs, academic transcripts, certificates/diplomas/degrees (accredited or otherwise), copies of achieved learning outcomes, course components and assignments
